Bad Boy mover is great. Tractor supply is awful.

Mower is great, my husband loves it. Two acres 1-1.25 hours. Tractor supply sucks; they put the final parts together (belt, etc.) and they did a TERRIBLE job at the Baytown store. Belt not attached correctly, loose bolts-seat not attached correctly. Avoid the Baytown Texas store-poor service and they often are out of what you need. The TS website didn’t work when we went to buy the mower-so we called the store for over an hour-no answer. If you buy from TS be sure to check belt installation (tension) seat attachment and make sure all bolts are tightened correctly. Also read other reviews because others have had problems as well.

Elite performance, Unbeatable price!

After much research, I chose the Bad Boy Maverick to maintain our 3 acre property with thick foliage, seedlings and steep grade hills. This machine has met and even exceeded my expectations. I’ve mowed 6 foot tall weeds, cat tails and even seedlings and the Maverick chews right through it all. The sodded part of the property is 20,000 sq. ft. and at top speed I can complete a clean cut in under 25 minutes! I borrowed a “Elite” brand zero turn that runs twice price from a friend before purchasing the Maverick, and I can say this Bad Boy holds its own in spectacular fashion against much higher priced competition. If you have a perfectly flat yard, then this is the mower for you. If you have even the slightest slant or hill in your yard then you should consider another brand. The picture you see is cut on a 4 out of 4.5. Each side slightly slants. Take note of how bad the low end of the desk scalps your yard. I have these places all over my yard now, so I returned this mower within 3 hours of buying it. The first Bad Boy I purchased 7 years ago arrived with a froze up engine and they had to pick it up with a wrecker. Now this product makes your yard look horrid, so for this price I’ll find a different brand.
